You asked for it......

So, according to one of my readers and others that I have heard from, ya'll like it when I write longer posts. Because I like to give back to the people, this one should tide you over for a while (But, you have to leave a comment if you read, deal?)...

Well, where do I start. 24 (the greatest action packed show ever) concluded last night with a riveting finale. I have been addicted to this show from the very first season and, besides the shock value of the first season, the recent fourth season was the best(they must have come up with new writers or something because it just blew us all away). If you don't watch, I don't want to spoil it for you, but I will - they killed off Jack Bauer. And if you do watch, then you know the truth behind that last statement. The preview for the next season, which begins in January, set us up with a great statement, "You don't know Jack..." Thats about all I want to say about 24, except for, Please bring Jack's daughter, she is so hot!

So anyways, I am leaving this coming friday at 7 in the morning for New York, New York. One of my good friends, Ryan Boeka, is graduating from West Point. He is the Cadet First Captain, the highest ranking cadet at West Point, and is also ranked very high academically. I have know him since elementary school and became good friends during our years at Crocket Middle School, and also at Amarillo High School. For anyone that knows him, being the top ranking guy is not what you would expect of him. Anyways, this trip will be a great time to hang out with friends and do things that we Amarilloans usually do not get the chance to do. We will be staying at The W for two nights and that should be a whole lot of fun, since we rented a suite for the 5 of us going.

Next, The Texas Rangers sure are getting hot. The other day they scored 18 runs by hitting 8 home runs. Due to the fact of the up coming easier portion of their scheduale, and the great(for Texas) starting pitching, they are going to make a run and take over the lead in the American League West and stay there until the playoffs.

Last, for now, I recently have been able to start using The Facebook. If you don't know what it is, then your out of the loop, or your university is behind in the times like my school was until recently. This is a really interesting web site that allows college students to be able to keep up with friends from high school and from their own schools. WTAMU just recently go into the fold because they gave in and finaly allowed their students to have their own email system(crazy, I know, but its about time). Its a cool site because once you find someone you can ask them to be your friend and that will open new doors and it seems like every day you can find someone new that you know and then you can read their profile and find current information about them. If your school is not listed on it, you can do what I did and find the page on Facebook that allows you to request your school to be on there and, in my case it seemed to take about 3 months before we got on. Its can be fun to read others profiles and catch up. Facebook me!

And, as always, if your on your bike tonight, do wear white...
