....my heart is broken. I understand the rangers need pitching, but giving up young is just flat out horrible. getting rid of gonzalez is totally understandable, but young had so much up side it just makes me sick. anyways, i guess its good to know that at least the rangers are trying to do something and hoping to improve

Patience sir....I will admit I was stunned that we gave up our only proven starter, but Eaton is a better pitcher with better stuff. Young is good, I love him too, but he's a #4 or maybe #3. Eaton has the stuff to be a #1 or #2. The only question is whether they can sign him long term, which should be interesting. The other part we are missing is the Japanese pitcher, he's good, our 8th and 9th innings are covered now..that's huge! Gotta trust in JD (Jon Daniels) until he proves us otherwise. If we can get Millwood, we have a pretty sweet rotation. (then pray for some Clemens baby)
