Come pick me up

A couple of things then i'm out....

Why?? Seriously, WHY not?

I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired.

I'm BROKEN,

and....i've been in this rut so long, i'm starting to find my grove........

And I wanna let her know
That I won't let her go
I wanna let her know
That I love her so
I'll start this off without any words
I got so high that I scratched 'till I bled
I love myself better than you
I know it's wrong so what should I do?
The finest day that I ever had
Was when I learned to cry on command
I love myself better than you
I know it's wrong so what should I do?
I'm on a plain
I can't complain
I'm on a plain
My mother died every night
It's safe to say, don't quote me on that
I love myself better than you
I know it's wrong so what should I do?
The black sheep got blackmailed again
Forgot to put on the zip code
I love myself better than you
I know it's wrong so what should I do?
I'm on a plain
I can't complain
I'm on a plain
Somewhere I have heard this before
In a dream my memory has stored
As a defense I'm neutered and spayed
What the hell am I trying to say?
It is now time to make it unclear
To write off lines that don't make sense
I love myself better than you
I know it's wrong so what should I do?
And one more special message to go
And then I'm done, then I can go home
I love myself better than you
I know it's wrong so what should I do?
I'm on a plain
I can't complain
I'm on a plain
I can't complain
I'm on a plain
I can't complain
I'm on a plain
I can't complain

black

I know someday you'll have a beautiful life,
I know you'll be the sun
In somebody else's sky, but why
Why, why can't it be, why can't it be mine...?

Vegas

The time has come.....

Las Vegas till thursday evening...wish me a good time, safety, and, well, a little luck.

Texas

I got this email today and its a good one...
(please excuse the bad format)

> TEXAS
> > When you're from Texas, people that you meet ask you> questions like, Do you have any cows?" "Do you have> horses?" "Bet you got a bunch of guns, eh?" > > They all want to know if you've been to Southfork.> They watched Dallas. > > Have you ever looked at a map of the world? Look at> Texas with me just for a second. That picture, with> the Panhandle and the Gulf Coast, and the Red River> and the Rio Grande is as much a part of you as> anything ever will be.. As soon as anyone anywhere> in the world looks at it they know what it is. It's> Texas. Pick any kid off the street in Japan and> draw him a picture of Texas in the dirt and he'll> know what it is. What happens if I show you a> picture of any other state? You might get it maybe> after a second or two, but who else would? And even> if you do, does it ever stir any feelings in you? > > In every man, woman and child on this planet, there> is a person who wishes just once he could be a real> live Texan and get up on a horse or ride off in a> pickup. There is some little bit of Texas in> everyone. > > Did you ever hear anyone in a bar go, "Wow...so> you're from Iowa? Cool, tell me about it?" Do you> know why? Because there's no place like Texas. > > Texas is the Alamo. Texas is 183 men standing in a> church, facing thousands of Mexican nationals,> fighting for freedom, who had the chance to walk out> and save themselves, but stayed instead to fight and> die for the cause of freedom. We send our kids to> schools named William B. Travis and James Bowie and> Crockett and do you know why? Because those men saw> a line in the sand and they decided to cross it and> be heroes. John Wayne paid to do the movie himself.> That is the Spirit of Texas. > > Texas is Sam Houston capturing Santa Ana at San> Jacinto. > > Texas is "Juneteenth" and Texas Independence Day. > > Texas is huge! forests of Piney Woods like the Davy> Crockett National Forest. > > Texas is breathtaking mountains in the Big Bend. > > Texas is the unparalleled beauty of bluebonnet> fields in the Texas Hill Country. > > Texas is the beautiful, warm beaches of the Gulf> Coast of South Texas. > > Texas is the shiny skyscrapers in Houston and> Dallas. > > Texas is world record bass from places like Lake> Fork. > > Texas is Mexican food like nowhere else, not even> Mexico. > > Texas is the Fort Worth Stockyards, Bass Hall, the> Ballpark in Arlington and the Astrodome. > > Texas is larger-than-life legends like Michael> DeBakey, Denton Cooley, Willie Nelson, Buddy Holly,> Waylon Jennings, Janis Joplin, Kris Kristofferson,> Tom Landry, Darrell Royal, ZZ Top, Eric Dickerson,> Earl Campbell, Nolan Ryan, > Sam Rayburn, George Bush, Lyndon B.Johnson, and> George W. Bush. > > Texas is great companies like Dell Computer, Texas> Instruments and Compaq. And LOCKHEED MARTIN> AEROSPACE,! Home of the F-16 Jet Fighter and the JSF> Fighter. > > Texas is NASA. > > Texas is huge herds of cattle and miles of crops. > > Texas is skies blackened with doves, and fields full> of deer. > > Texas is a place where towns and cities shut down to> watch the local High School Football game on Friday> nights and for the Cowboys on Monday Night > Football, and for the Night In Old San Antonio River> Parade in San Antonio. Texas is ocean beaches,> deserts, lake s and rivers, mountains and prairies,> and modern cities. > > If it isn't in Texas, you probably don't need it. > > No one does anything bigger or better than it's done> in Texas. > > By federal law, Texas is the only state in the U.S.> that can fly its flag at the same height as the U.S.> flag. Think about that for a second. You fly the> Stars and Stripes at 20 feet in Maryland,> California, or Maine and your state flag, whatever> it is, goes at 17 feet. You fly t! he Stars and> Stripes in front of Pine Tree High in Longview or> anyplace else at 20 feet, the Lone Star flies at the> same height - 20 feet. Do you know why? Because it> is the only state that was a republic before it> became a state. > > Also, being a Texan is as high as being an American> down here. Our capitol is the only one in the> country that is taller than the capitol building in> Washington, D.C. and we can divide our state into> five states at any time if we wanted to! We> included these things as part of the deal when we> came on. That's the best part, right there. > > Texas even has its own power grid!! > > If you are a REAL TEXAN you won't even need to be> told to pass this on!

Interesting......

I heard some really good news tonight and it made me think of this great song by The Burden Brothers (great live show!). Anyways, I hope and pray that this news turns out to be even better someday in the future because, well, nevermind, I don't want to get my hopes up too much because they have been broken before. Atleast check out this song -
Beautiful Night
It's a beautiful night for feeling lonely
A beautiful night for being afraid
So raise your hands, you one and only's
You one-of-a-kinds who feel this way
I don't want to talk, don't want to explain it
I don't want to f*ck and I don't want to fight
It's only a feeling, its fleet and fading
It's all over the world, and it's only tonight
Cause it's a beautiful night
Beautiful night, yeah
Beautiful night
Beautiful night to be here
It's a perfect time for being wasted
A perfect time to watch the stars
So throw back your head, come on, embrace it
It's a beautiful night, wherever you are
It's a beautiful night
Beautiful night, yeah
A beautiful night
Beautiful night to be here
All good things will come to you
Maybe tonight, maybe tonight it's the truth
I don't know
All good things to those who dream
Maybe tonight, maybe tonight we'll find peace
God I hope so
So raise your hands, raise your hands...
All good friends, they stood by you
And one at a time, one at a time they fell down
They fall down
All your fears are coming true
This is a time, this is the time of your life
That defines you
So raise your hands, raise your hands...
Under the stars I'm alone among strangers
Confused, connected, diffused and alive
Maybe the future will smile on us
Maybe the future is here tonight
Cause it's a beautiful night
Beautiful night, yeah
Beautiful night
Beautiful night to be here
Beautiful night
just two more tests till spring break...can it take any longer?

Wow, Kinda Weird

Today marks the 3rd straight month that I haven't had a drink of Coke, or for that matter Dr. Pepper.* My body has definitely thanked me for it by dropping some major weight and by not messing up my stomach too much, which is really nice for once.

*Two weeks ago I did have a rather large shot sized drink of MOXIE because my U.S. and Canada Geography Professor said it was a regional soft drink of The North East(mainly Massachusetts, since Ted Williams use to endorse it, that is, way before he had his head chopped off and then frozen with the rest of his body out in Arizona, but back to the story...). Anyways, Dr. Roper didn't explain to the class until after everyone had a drink that he usually describes the drink like this, "At first, it has a taste of flat root beer, which isn't all that bad, then it has a taste of Pine-Sol, which isn't good, then the longest after taste of ear wax." That Red Soxs lovin' bastard!

"Perfect"

I know we're just like old friends
We just can't pretend
That lovers make amends
We are reasons so unreal
We can't help but feel that something has been lost
But please you know you're just like me
Next time I promise we'll be
Perfect
Perfect
Perfect strangers down the line
Lovers out of time
Memories unwind
So far I still know who you are
But now I wonder who I was...
Angel, you know it's not the end
We'll always be good friends
The letters have been sent on
So please, you always were so free
You'll see, I promise we'll be
Perfect
Perfect strangers when we meet
Strangers on the street
Lovers while we sleep
Perfect
You know this has to be
We always we're so free
We promised that we'd be
Perfect
