iPods are great. in fact, iPods, in my opinion, are one of the greatest new inventions to come along. They rank right up there with HDTV and, well, that's about it. But, sometimes iPods make you want to just take them out to the street and run over them because sometimes they just simply do not work. Case in point: I'm going out of town tomorrow (well, later today) and I simply wanted to update my iPod with all of the music from about the past two months that I had purchased. Well, for some reason, my iPod decided it wanted to totally screw me over and tell me that it was "corrupted". How does that happen. I mean, I treat my iPod with all the respect it should warrant and it wants to basically spit in my face and tell me that its smarter than me. And usually I could handle not using my iPod for 3 days, but, since I'm going to be on the road soon I have to have my iPod or else I would go crazy. All I'm trying to say is that I wish Apple and Microsoft could just get along and make these things compatible so that I wouldn't have to be typing this pointless post to my blog at 1:15 in the morning because I didn't have anything else to do while my iPod is being reloaded with 3,000 songs. Bla.

In other news, I think I just became a Patriots fan...I love Randy Moss.

I guess I can still go on about my iPod.
My iPod is one of the older ones. Not the first version, but the version right before the first color one, but that doesn't really bother me. But, I've been telling myself that I can hold out buying a new one until mine completely quits on me. Well, I thought tonight was the night. Eventually, though, it finally made up its mind that its got one more life. Which is probably a good thing because I'm guess that after Apple debuts its iPhone (which I really want, but don't believe in Cingular) they will be putting out a whole new version of its iPod. And I think at that point it will be time to retire my prehistoric version of the iPod. Good night
