Today was a good day

So, today I finally closed on my house and I am now a proud homeowner (well, I guess you could say that I am at least a "committed" homeowner). But before I went to my closing, I got some really good news that was unexpected. My dean at wt had her secretary call and tell me that next semester I only have to take 12 hours. That sound like normal news, but, I was going to have to take 15. The whole deal is that there is a new degree plan coming out next fall and they can switch me to it with out it penalizing me and I will still be able to graduate in December. That's really good, but I wish I would have know earlier before this semester because I wouldn't have indulged my self into 19 this semester, but oh well. Anyways, I'm pumped and it gives me a little more motivation to finish out this semester strong. The homework load right now is really killing me, but I am just glad that I am staying ahead of the game and have started most of my major assignments due late April. Well, hope everyone out there is doing well. Rangers start in one week, YES!

i'm not a big believer in these horoscopes, but, sometimes they can be kind of dead on... here's mine from today....
"When you Crabs come out of your shell, everyone around you has a good time. You feel upbeat today and are ready to indulge yourself and your family. You can get so caught up in the day's events that you forget about the more serious issues that have been weighing on you. If you find yourself overextended, head for the nearest protective cave.

SO, In about 2 hours, Tanner and I are heading to Taos. Its a spur of the moment trip that should be pretty fun. The snow isn't great, but, we are expert skiers and can handle any type of challenge 'ole mother nature throws our way. Luckily, we will be meeting up with Dustin and staying one night at his cabin. I haven't had a chance to go up there yet and I can't wait to see what they have done during their expansion of their cabin. Anyways, wish us luck and SNOW. God willing, we will be back Saturday night.
