Prednisone Sucks

Prednisone Sucks, really bad. Just check out the "common" side effects on this link. It really sucks that I had worked for months to lose weight after being taken off the stuff before the end of 2004, and then, once i get done to a healthy weight (just under 200 lbs) my ulcerative colitis flares up and i have to be back on it and gain all that weight back.

I'm so glad that blogger is now giving us the great opportunity of allowing us to post photos easily instead of having to use separate software that wasn't easy to use. Anyways, its also nice that they do this right after I have recently bought a Sony digital camera and also, are you ready, a new dell computer with Microsoft XP media center. Now, I can easily show you stuff that i was never allowed to, and very easy, may i add. so, here is a recent picture i have taken, yesterday in the car on our way back. And, the river picture if from this weekend's Bailey family reunion in New Braunfels, TEXAS. I'm smack dab in the center, and my sister is right below me, and my dad is on the left of me.

hey

so, here is a sweet picture of ted nugent.

Ted Nugent

So anyways, last night I went to Ted Nugent with Tanner Borger. It was good American entertainment that rocked. He came out playing the Star Spangled Banner and just continued to rock from there. He really is an awesome dude that loves this country. The best part about him is that he gives so much time and money for the support of our troops, wounded or not. I wasn't really a big fan of him before hand and I didn't leave wanting to buy any of his cd's, but it was still a good time. And as my dad was leaving the airport this morning he turned around and there was Uncle Ted right behind him in the security check. So my dad talked to him and got his autograph for me, Bar-b-q!

I know I promised a long post tonight but things happen.

I went up to the Veterans hospital tonight to see my granddad and to say my final goodbyes. The doctors up there are not going to help him anymore and as a family we are letting him go in peace. My granddad has been through a lot in his life and he has lived it to the fullest and then some. I love my granddad and it will be tough on our family to see him go, but we will be rejoicing knowing that he is going to a much better place, a place we all hope to see him again. And when we see him, he will be alright, and happy. I pray that he goes in peace and in comfort, which he will, and he will probably be smiling all the way home. Good night, and God speed...

"...Grieve not,
nor speak of me with tears,
but laugh and talk of me
as if I were beside you...
I loved you so -
'twas Heaven here with you"
